Mr. Ron Sirivanasandha advises clients on international trade issues relating to multilateral trade rules, customs regulations and privileges, investment rules, and trade in services. He monitors the development of trade negotiations within the region and provides assistance in evaluating the consistency of government policies with World Trade Organization (“WTO”), ASEAN Free Trade Area (“AFTA”) and free trade agreement (“FTA”) rules. In addition, he advises and assists sovereign clients regarding multilateral, regional, and bilateral trade negotiations on various topics ranging from economic impact analysis to cross-cutting issues such as investment, trade in services, as well as industry-specific issues.

• Former Thailand’s lead negotiator for the Agreement on Trade in Services under the ASEAN-Korea FTA framework.

• Participated as a member in Thailand’s negotiating team for trade in services of the Thailand-Australia FTA and the Thailand-US FTA.

• Involved in the negotiations of telecommunication services, electronic-commerce and ICT in various forum including WTO, ASEAN and the Thailand-US FTA.
