With the recent changes in the investment laws and the evolving regulatory environment relating to foreign businesses in several Asian countries, companies may have difficulties keeping up-to-date on the legal and regulatory requirements.

Bryan Cave International Trade assists foreign businesses to understand the relevant investment laws, particularly those pertaining to specific industries or sectors. We work with clients to seek and apply for investment promotion privileges from the investment authorities (e.g., Thailand’s Board of Investment “BOI”, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand “IEAT”, Singapore’s Economic Development Board “EDB”) and in assessing the most appropriate legal and tax structures and to obtain the necessary permits and licenses to operate in specific Asian countries in compliance with foreign investment laws and regulations (e.g., Alien Business Law in Thailand).
